funny results when you indent using something like

it moves the cursor, using "." will then do it from the new
cursor location (the top of the recently completed shift),
shifting from "6 lines above your original position" to "3
lines above your original position", rather than re-shifting
the previously shifted block. It's an understandible
behavior, but kinda odd at the same time.
