    Charles, I noticed that syntax for [vim] files were broken when I tried the latest snapshot vim-7.0aa-0206. I went from version 7.0-21 to 7.0-27 of vim.vim.

      Charles,

      I noticed that syntax for [vim] files were broken when I tried the
      latest snapshot vim-7.0aa-0206. I went from version 7.0-21 to 7.0-27 of
      vim.vim.

      Here's an example of how it breaks:

      ===in new buffer===
      "syntax ok
      let v = A(nastyfuncname)
      let v = I(nastyfuncname)
      let v = R(nastyfuncname)
      let v = F(nastyparam.a)
      let v = F(nastyparam.i)
      let v = F(nastyparam.r)
      "syntax broken after any of 6 lines above
      ===================

      I traced the error to lines 131 & 318.
      What's the purpose of [aiAIrR]?
