      Vim 6.2.71 WinXP
      Python23

      I thought I would give this plugin a try:
      vimsh.tar.gz : terminal/shell buffer script for python enabled
      [g]vim
      http://vim.sourceforge.net/scripts/script.php?script_id=165

      So I:
      1. Downloaded/Installed Python23
      2. Compiled up gvim:
      nmake -f Make_mvc.mak debug=no gui=yes cscope=yes OLE=yes
      PYTHON=d:\programs\python23 DYNAMIC_PYTHON=yes PYTHON_VER=23 clean
      nmake -f Make_mvc.mak debug=no gui=yes cscope=yes OLE=yes
      PYTHON=d:\programs\python23 DYNAMIC_PYTHON=yes PYTHON_VER=23

      Created a mapping:
      nmap <Leader>sh :source $VIM/vimfiles/vimsh/vimsh.vim<CR>

      Then tried to use it:
      Error detected while processing c:\Vim\vimfiles\vimsh\vimsh.vim:
      line 16:
      Traceback (most recent call last):
      File "<string>", line 1, in ?
      File "c:\Vim\vimfiles\vimsh/vimsh.py", line 377
      m = re.search( '
      ^
      SyntaxError: EOL while scanning single-quoted string

      Just wondering if anyone has seen this before.
      Here is some other relevant info:
