      :help :bufdo

      Although, searches ARE done on all buffers - use ":set hls" to highlight
      matches. Then, all matches in all open buffers are highlighted.
      So, :bufdo only makes sense when e.g. doing a replace in all buffers
      :bufdo s/foo/bar/
      If you really meant :grep, this is also possible :
      :bufdo grep foo %
