If you're using Vim 6.0 see:

      :help errorformat-ant

It says that this works ( untested ):

      :set efm=%A\ %#[javac]\ %f:%l:\ %m,%-Z\ %#[javac]\ %p^,%-C%.%#

Some time ago I spent a lot of time (that was a fist time I've done it) and
created the following configuration to handle error format from java
compiler (Java 1.3) started by Ant:

        set makeprg=ant
        set errorformat=\ \ \ \ %[javac%\\]\ %f:%l:\ %m,%C\ \ \ \ %[javac%\\]\ %\\*%^

It handles java error messages by jumping to the place where error
occurred. It also jumps to the warnings if warnings are on in the compiler.

The problem I meet: The error message is not complete (I see only first
line of the error messge), thus I type

        :cl!

to list the original error message.
