            With a special keymap in your
            /usr/lib/kbd/keymaps/include/vim-compose.latin1 (at least, on
            Slackware). After you have loaded that keymap on top of your old keymap
            (`loadkeys vim-compose.latin1`) you can use them with <Ctrl>-k char
            accent, where accent is ", ', `, ~, etc.....
