I have a problem similiar to that one discussed recently.

      My config:
      ---
GVIM 6.0.93/Win32 (compiled with MSVC 6.0) under Win98SE
      features: +multibyte, +iconv/dyn

      Windows locale codepage is cp1251.

      :lang
      prints "Russian_Russia.1251"

      I have iconv v 1.7 installed.
      ---

      iconv -f cp1251 -t utf-8 infile >outfile

from the command line works correctly.

      But

      gvim "+w ++enc=utf-8 outfile|q" infile

gives me the same result as

      iconv -f latin1 -t utf-8 infile >outfile

Conversion from utf-8 to cp1251 with GVIM is correct.

      :set termencoding=cp1251 encoding=utf-8

also works normally. Only thing that fails is file conversion
      from cp1251 to utf-8...

      What I am doing wrong?
