I was in the process of finally merging this patch tonight, but I am
having serious problems with it.
1. Cmd-N twice to open two windows
2. In the first open three files in tabs (I did ":tab drop *.h" in a
folder with 3 .h files) and in the second open another three (I did
":tab drop *.m" in a folder with 3 .m files)
3. Drag a tab from the partially obscured window into the topmost window
Result: Sometimes it works but more often the "buffer modified"
warning dialog pops up in the destination window for a file that is
open in the source window (in my case I get "warning file1.h is
modified" when I was dragging "file2.h" to the window with all the .m
files open). It seems to happen more often if I drag a tab that was
not already selected in the source window, but this is not crucial.
1. Cmd-N twice
2. Open some tabs in both windows and make sure the working directory
is the same for both windows (~/temp in my case)
3. Drag tab from one window to the other
Result: If the tab I dragged initially had the title "file.txt", when
it is dropped in the destination window its title changes to
"~/temp/file.txt" (actually, it is shortened to "~/t/file.txt"). This
is a minor problem, but it looks weird.
I want to merge this patch since you have spent some time and effort
on implementing it, but I just don't feel comfortable doing so until
it at least works with all simple test cases (such as the first one
