      Hi,

      After having successfully installed XonX and XDarwin, Vim didn't want
      to compile from the Terminal.app with configure and make. The attached
      patch will make it work.

      Now there's 3 way to compile Gvim under MacOS X.

      with configure and make (with XonX) -> BSD and Athena (Motif and GTK
      may also work)
      with Project Builder and -DMACOS_X -> Carbon (using os_mac.c)
      with Project Builder and -DMACOS_X_UNIX -> Carbon (using os_unix.c -> :!
      work)

      ... That sounds good. How about updating the docs, Makefiles and INSTALLmac.txt to explain people what different versions are possible, how well they work on

        That sounds good.

        How about updating the docs, Makefiles and INSTALLmac.txt to explain people
        what different versions are possible, how well they work on which Mac and how
        to build them?
