Compiling Vim-5.7 on OS X

      Has anyone gotten this to work properly? I'm getting crazy syntax errors in regexp.c

      [localhost:~/vim-5.7] nkocharh% make
      cd src && make all
      cc -c -I. -Iproto -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -g -O2 -Wall regexp.c
      regexp.c:356: illegal external declaration, missing `;' after `)'
      regexp.c:359: illegal external declaration, found `{'
      regexp.c:383: illegal external declaration, found `if'
      regexp.c:386: illegal method definition, found `('
      regexp.c:386: illegal method definition, missing `{' after `)'
      regexp.c:387: illegal external declaration, missing `;' after `np'
      regexp.c:388: illegal external declaration, missing `;' after `*'
      regexp.c:388: illegal method selector, found `2'
      regexp.c:393: illegal external declaration, found `return'
      make[1]: *** [regexp.o] Error 1
      make: *** [all] Error 2

      Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

      Oh, and has work begun / been completed on getting MacVim carbonized? Juuuust wondering.

        Be sure to apply patch 5.7.020, which addresses these OS X errors:

        ... You will need patch 5.7.20. Getting all the patches may be a good idea. As soon as I have the MPW version of Vim running I will look into Carbon again. The

          You will need patch 5.7.20.
          Getting all the patches may be a good idea.

          As soon as I have the MPW version of Vim running I will look into Carbon
          again. The CW version depends on SIOX which is still not carbonized.
