        That shows you the HTML code that makes up a web page.

        It's a good way of learning how people do things in HTML if you are
        interested.

          This is a great thing about the web. You are (pretty much) forced to reveal your secrets of web page layout to the world. Anyone who is interested just does a 'view source' and will learn. (There was a famous rock guitarist who for a while played guitar behind a little curtain, so as not to reveal his technique.)

              Wouldn't be surprised. I heard the rumor about Robert Fripp playing behind a little curtain so you could only see his face.

              [View Source] has certainly helped millions of people learn how to write HTML and JavaScript. And I'm sure thousands of guitarists have studied Eddie Van Halen's fingers quite closely.
