Welcome to the VICTORIAN ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW-VICARR-THE MOST ACTIVE VICTORIAN ARCHITECTURAL DISCUSSION GROUP ON THE INTERNET! Still expanding entering our twelfth year with over eight thousand archived messages and photos, our lively discussion forum is designed to bring together enthusiasts of Victorian Architecture to share favorite photos & stories, answer questions, and discuss the "Gilded Age" Architecture of the 1800's. Discussions range from very informal to academic. Focus is primarily on the Victorian era(1840-1910) architecture of North America, but participation from other English-speaking countries is most welcomed. Lovers and restorers of Victorian era homes will find fellow "kindred spirits" here. New members are encouraged to introduce themselves and describe their interests. Discussion participation, however, is not mandatory. More than a thousand architectural images are stored in our group albums and at the side link. Please, POST NO SPAM!
