Setup Tasks For Hangar Dance on Sat., Oct. 4th, 2008
- Thursday, Oct 2:
Need help with phones, moving tables, cleaning tables and chairs, covering tables, plane placements, lights, sweeping, pictures, posters, signs, etc.
Friday, Oct 3:
Finish any tasks that can be done. (i.e.: Lights, floors, wipe down of food bar, phone coverage, etc.)
Need help setting up Silent Auction.
5 p.m.: Final Hangar Dance Setup Meeting in the Conference Room.
6 p.m.: Pizza meal for Hangar Dance Volunteers in the hangar
Sat., Oct 4:
Blow up balloons, attach to weight anchor decorations & place on tables.
Setup of food/snack bar.
Final clean ups as needed.
Parking lot setup and golf carts ready to go!
Answering of phone.
Greeting of guest vendors and helping them with their setups as needed
5:30 pm: Volunteers BBQ Meal
6-6:15 p.m.---LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION: Let the crowd in and the fun begin! SMILE!
Will Call Table opens for guests to claim pre-paid tickets
Door Ticket Sales ($35/person at door-DANCE ONLY!) Table Opens
Event Dinner: 6:30 pm to 8:30 p.m.
Encourage our guests to go bid at the Silent Auction & visit the PX setup in hangar
Approx 7:30 or so: Swing Dance Lessons
Greetings, Presentation of Colors, Introductions
8:30 pm till Midnight: Dance to live music! & Door Prize Drawings
Midnight till done: Clean off tables, move chairs, break down tables, clean up hangar & move planes back in.
