      DoD Identifies Army Casualty


      The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier
      who was
      supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

      Spc. Robert E. Hall Jr., 30, of Pittsburgh, Pa., died June 28 in
      Ad Dujayl,
      Iraq, when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near
      his
      dismounted position at the gate of his forward operating base. Hall
      was assigned
      to the Army Reserve's 467th Engineer Battalion, Greenwood, Miss.
