      Dear Senator McCain:
It is with a heavy heart that i have to report to you that i cannot now nor in the future support your quest for the presidency, and will watch with jaundiced eye your 'Straight Talk America' campaign. i am particularly disappointed with the fact that as a veteran 'under arduous circumstance' you should know better.

I am a registered republican, of many years. Your positions on several key issues have guaranteed that you will go on without the majority of the repubican base. I will site 2 of them.

The second amendment guarantees the individual's 'right to self-defense' and arms. You fail this all-important test.
if you agree that this amendent DOES guarantee the right for the individual to keep and bear arms, THEN STATE IT OPENLY.

5 million of our older Americans have not signed up yet for their Medicare, Part D, drug plan------they are old and confused. We are not going to grant them an extension. However, 12+ million illegal aliens are in our country and we are going to allow them to stay, protest, procreate, receive support monies, attend schools, avoid paying income taxes, have our teachers take 300 hours of ESL (English as a Second Language) training at our expense, etc. If you cannot see the falacy of this, then again you cannot possibly seek my support. Congress will beggard the middle class over medical benefits, but for illegal aliens, they are a giveaway... WAKE UP!!!

These are but two of the most salient points...

Thanx for your time, but until you change, don't look for my money

      Straight Talk America

      Dear Kurt,

I am writing you this email because time is running out and I need your help now.

With just over two months before the elections, it is essential for us at Straight Talk America to do everything we can to ensure that the candidates who will work to carry our reform message forward are elected to office.

Over the next 10 weeks I will personally be traveling across the country campaigning for many qualified candidates. And have no doubt about it - each and every one of these races is crucial.

In order to meet our financial needs and raise the amount of money required to support our reform-minded candidates and strengthen our grassroots movement in the days and weeks leading up to the elections, we must raise an additional $150,000.

That is why I ask for your urgent financial help today as these critical races come down to the wire.

Please make your most generous contribution on our secure donation page today to make sure I can help as many candidates as possible before Election Day.

Working with Straight Talk America over the course of the past 5 years, we have proven that our reform agenda can prevail. But we must keep in mind that many vital issues remain to be addressed and resolved.

It is essential for us to continue to build on our successes by helping to re-elect and elect candidates who will work with us to advance meaningful government reform on key issues such as limiting federal spending, immigration reform, military readiness, global climate change, Social Security reform, health care, reining in lobbyists, reducing the power of the special interests, putting an end to wasteful pork barrel spending and moving our nation toward energy independence.

And with Congress divided right now, it is the reform candidates elected to office who will help us move forward with the votes we need to pass significant reform legislation on those and other very important issues.

In the next few weeks we must be prepared to fully launch our grassroots campaign and take our reform message to the people. We must be able to give crucial last minute financial help to key candidates. We must be ready to mobilize our grassroots forces, identify more activists and supporters, and most important of all, get reform-minded voters to the polls on Election Day.

Many of the campaigns that we are supporting will go right down to the wire and our ability to influence even a few hundred votes in targeted races could well mean the difference between victory and defeat for many of our candidates.

With your urgent help today, we can help to elect dozens of reform-minded candidates who will make a very substantial impact on the future of our nation when it comes to the close votes in the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives and State Houses across the country.

Thank you so much for your continued support and friendship.

      John McCain
