Hedonism. Music. Art. Sexuality. Discussion and creative writing.
Imagine that you've walked into a strange castle in the clouds. You step under a huge archway into a room carpeted in purple velvet. Low couches line the walls and soft cushions cover the floors. Every sort of refreshment imaginable is layed out before you amidst swirls of glitter. An androgynous waif with deep dark eyes watches you as you hesitantly approach. "All your dreams can come true here," the siren says, his eyes more alluring than a creature in a dream. "What price would I have to pay, to enjoy this paradise?" you ask.
"Just speak to us," the siren replies. "Speak to us," sings a soft chorus as you notice many other glittering half-naked forms lounging about the room. "Just speak to us. Tell us your thoughts and stories. All magic lies in words."
What more could you ask for? This group was created as an outlet for my passion about the movie "Velvet Goldmine", but it naturally has become much more than that. Devoted to rock stars, sexuality, creative writing, poetry, and pretty much anything else that people care to talk about, this is a discussion forum without much formal structure, for people who love to talk about a wide variety of things. For people who enjoy each other's company and enjoy making the most of life.
Since this list is a small close-knit community, discussion is very casual and intimate. Although this is not a dating service, if you like to write about covering people with body glitter, and if you like to flirt outrageously with people while talking about deep intellectual things such as the talents of musicians or the existance of god, then you'll feel quite at home here. The atmosphere is rather intimate, but also very open and welcoming.
"...Her clothes were almost off;
Outside, a curious tree
Beat a branch at the window
To see what it could see."
