      Billionaires Are Veg Too
Recently, a list of the world’s wealthiest people was released. On the list were an increasing number of people from India . As this article, from an Indian business publication states, some Indian billionaires appear to be vegetarian: http://www.business-standard.com/special/billion/2005/bill05_01.htm

Thus, not only can vegetarians excel at sports and entertainment, we can also do well at making money. And, of course, every vegetarian does well at one of the toughest tests for human beings: can we be kind to those weaker than ourselves?

Sakae Sushi Expands Its Veg Offer
A reader wrote in to remind us that Sakae Sushi’s special veg menu is still available, with a 25% discount on the 1st and 15th of the lunar month. And, the menu is now available at 6 of its outlets: http://www.sakaesushi.com.sg/promo%20-%20vege.php

      Going Green Means Going Veg
Going veg is now on more and more lists of ways to go green. For instance, here’s a list from the European Union:

      Cattle Farmer Goes Veg
The next time someone tells you that people can’t change, tell them about a beef cattle farmer named Harold Brown who decided to become a vegetarian after learning the word from a bumper sticker on the back of a car that he repaired. The slogan read, "I don't eat my friends," and after asking the vehicle's owner what the sticker meant, Brown further investigated and gained an appreciation for the concept of vegetarianism.
