      Wim van Warmerdam's popular cooking classes are back! If you are new to cooking, or to vegan cooking, or just want to upgrade your kitchen skills, this is the class for you!

      Class. This hands-on class covers the basics: cooking grains and legumes, and steaming vegetables to maintain maximum flavor and nutrition.

      Menu. Dishes include quinoa with black eyed peas, hummus, and tomato-cucumber salad (possible menu changes, depending on what's fresh and available that day).

      Prep. Please bring a knife, cutting board, apron, towel, medium-sized pan with a lid, serving spoon, and measuring cups and spoons (if you have them).

      Location. The beautiful renovated Victorian residence is also an art gallery that has been a Second Saturday Art Walk venue.

      Instructor and long-time SVS member Wim van Warmerdam is a vegan chef who focuses on organic, whole, local, healthy, delicious recipes. He is currently a personal chef and was previously a chef at Mum's and Beatnik's.
