That was interesting Vanessa, I had no idea. Yes, I can see the
feelings of the Mexicans more clearly now. There's a lot to be said
about that article. Thank You for posting it! :-) We love hearing
your opinions! :-) keep us posted! :-) and Thanks for your
      blessings! :-)

I was reading this today and was suprised that Japan was an ally.....

[From WASHINGTON - As the United States moves closer to war with Iraq
(news -website), Secretary of State Colin Powell (news - website)
said Tuesday that 30 nations have declared varying levels of support
and 15 others have given their backing privately. Japan, and some of
the other 45 nations are not necessarily committed comabat
units....some countries, for instance, have committed chemical weapon
experts who are not soldiers. In addition Japan has committed to
being involved in the post war process of rebuilding iraq.]

wow, isn't that wonderful! Japan committing to rebuild Iraq!.....I
thought how could this be, one of Japan's conditions of ending WWII
was that they would never arm themselves again. But not so, their
constitution says that they will not engage in war but can defend
themselves thence their armed forces re-called a "self defense
force". To engage in terrorism outside their borders they need to
change their constitution. See! thought that was interesting.

OH hell! LOL! Anyway, here's my $.11 cents. I do realize that the war
is not with the people of iraq it's with their leader, and I'm not
for sending our troops over to that corner of the world. Vanessa you
said you have nothing against Americans, but have your Mexican
friends ever heard this, I guess not from reading your article, but
President Bush's first priority is not killing Saddam or putting our
people or Iraqi people in harms way, it's to disarm and destroy
      Saddam's weapons of mass distruction before those weapons destroy us;
that's our whole justification for going to war. Bush's second
priority, is to take away Saddamm's leadership (to put someone more
trust-worthy in Saddam's place), and Bush has tryed to do that
peacefully by asking him to leave that country so that we can ALL
avoid war. If we go to war and it looks like we definately will, that
was Saddamm's choice not President Bush's choice. I'm against having
a war to force out Saddam; nobody wants any one to get hurt, but if
he doesn't leave the country I believe it has to be done to free Iraq
and to let those people have the same freedoms as we do or have close
to what we have....I don't know how those iraqi women survive. Your
article used the phrase, "the language of the business".....we call
that "Our Constitution" and Our Constitution is all
about "liberation" of people, improving EVERYONE'S living conditions
without racism. We love all people of different colors.

ps, it's easy for me to say all that though because I don't have a
family member going off to Bagdad, but I know how hard it will be for
all of your families to sit back and have to wait for your loved ones
to return. So for me, my idea of supporting our troops is to pray
they come back safely. I'll be thinking about you and praying for
your children. And I just hope it all works out and it's a quick one
so it doesn't kill us economically as well. Oh God, should I post
this????????? ugh! :( Ive been staring at it for 25 minutes......I
hate bad news....LOL! I definately have to stop talking so
      much.....Yo k here goes.....

An EFFECTIVE WAR AND WITHOUT VIOLENCE

After the petroleum irakiano, who knows which will be the next one"
Booty." The flora and reservations of the Amazonia, the world
reservations of drinking water, the minerals of the whole planet,
does somebody doubt it? .In the decade of the 50 the American blacks
of the states of the South, as Alabama, Georgia, Mississipi, alone
they could occupy the back seats of the bus. One day a black lady sat
down in a front seat and she was attacked and expelled of the bus. On
following Sunday the Reverend Martin Luther King began a boycott
movement to the bus, having total adhesion of the blacks, even of
other southern States. Eleven months after the beginning of the
boycott, during which the blacks didn't walk in bus, the politicians,
pressed by the proprietors of the companies, voted a Law that
prohibited the racial discrimination in the means of transport. This
is the language that the American politicians understand, the
language of the" business." Now Bush and their colleague Tony Blair
of England, seeks to invade Iraq to appropriate of its reservations
of petroleum, in the same way that they come interfering in the
internal politics of Venezuela and in all the other countries, as if
they were owners of everything, exposing to the world to a chaos. >
This is the hour of leaving our litany, of our indifference and to
begin to act. Following that line, we propose a BOYCOTT TO THE NORTH
AMERICAN PRODUCTS AND ENGLISHMEN. To throw stones and to break the
windows of the Mc Donalds and Burger Kings in the entire world is to
make the game to the violence that is the game of them. Let us don't
let them to take us to her. Just by teaching to our children that can
get good food in other places, coarse. Equally, when we are thirsty,
we don't need to take Coca Line, Pepsi, Seven Up or Schweppes. We
will take water, coffee, juice, tea (never Twinings!) or some
national soda. When we buy a car, let us buy French, German, Korean,
Japanese files or any other, less Ford, Chrysler, GM, or Rover. To
never load fuel that is in YPF or Petrobras, Esso and Shell!
Pneumatic Michelin, non Good Year you Count bank in City, Boston,
HSBC or Lloyds neither to think it. If you are still of the few ones
fortunate that it can save and he/she wants to save in foreign
currencies, save in Eurus and don't demand Dollars.
Tell ¡NO! to the cookies Terrabusi-Nabisco or to the Mayco-Kraft.
Idem to the chocolates Cadbury or Hershey. Medications (there is
generic of local Laboratories), he/she pastures dental, dressing room
soap, powdered soap, shampu, clothes, slippers, computers, air
passages, any thing that is national or of another origin, less
American or English. Pertinent, this remedy was already proven by the
Englishmen in the India. There, Gandhi led the" peaceful resistance"
and, without violence, he/she obtained the independence of its
country. A detail: we won't create more unemployment when not going
to Mc Donalds, Burger King or not to take Coca Line or Pepsi because
we will be generating employment when consuming their competitors'
products. Only the lucre and the royalties go to stop United States
and England. It is hour of beginning:

First: sends this message to all their acquaintances.

Second: Stays attentive so that when will buy something, even in
the supermarket, be careful not to buy anything of American origin or
      English

Hello Vanessa, I don't agree with Bush's logic either.
Someone was selling all these great aerial helicopter photographs of
the war protest March in Hollywood that I went to. I attached one
photo to this email. My friends and I are somewhere in there.
Somewhere about the middle; we jumped in a bit late.

Today the 17th, is Saddam's deadline. The president is giving another
speech, so we'll find out later if his peace mission is over and
we're going to war or not.

On that happy note, have a nice day in Mexico! :-) Brandy
