Your house and primitive accessories do sound interesting. I have to admit, I'm spoiled on many of the modern conveniences that make chores easier, but some of the technological gadgets do annoy the hell out of me.
It's too bad your pics didn't come through on the group. I am not sure what Yahoo is thinking with their new group setup. It seems they are trying to fix what wasn't broken.
Sadly I put up a set of 11 photos and it said it was added but nothing actually came through.. After the probably thousands of photos I have put up on this group I am rather irratated that Yahoo has made the new system that has prevented me from being active in my own group.. The only way around it I suppose is to buy a new computer, which is not cheap!
Anyway I tired.

I will post a few photos for those who are curious about some of my items. Larry”
Yes, Larry, please do post some photos. Your house sounds a bit like the old farm house I had in Ohio 35 Years ago which was actually two old farm houses put together in an L shape, the oldest of which still had bark on the bottoms of the log floor joists. It had fireplaces in each end of one of them and I uncovered a kitchen fireplace in the other. I had some good times there before moving to Arkansas, but long johns were a winter staple as was sweeping up the fine snow that accumulated under the windows inside after a good winter blow. Arkansas is a bit milder, but still it’s 8 degrees here this morning and predicted to be –3 degrees tomorrow. However, we still have power for the well pump, ice in the fridge, a fire burning merrily in the VC Defiant Encore (best wood stove in the universe), the dish washer hasn’t frozen up yet, and the Buckeyes are on TV tonight to seal an unbeaten season. Can life get any better than that?
Cheers, Phil Warner
