I had my red-white-blue kite up with little laundry on it. The wind was a little high(around 18-20mph), but everying I put up flew all day long.
The Chamber folks didn't show up, but we still had a great time. I think we should make this an annual event for the Utah Kite flyers and anyone else that wants to come and fly with us. We can just start our own Fall Fest at the Bear. I think about the second second or third week of September would work best. I also think we should return next year on Septerber 20th and 21st. What does everyone think? Do we dare make plans that far out?
Hope Todd posts a few photos of this years event.
Enjoy the Sky

I’ve got some pinwheels I’m planning on bringing. Do you think Melinda will have any objections to them being given away during the event?
I don’t have any contact info for her. Perhaps you’d pass this on to her for me.
As for sand anchors, my son has several ammo can stored in my garage, I’ll bring a few of them to fill with sand and tie a kite to them. I think they’ll work.
See you twoish on Sat.
