      Vesperal Lit. has been scheduled on Sat. but that this is not done either
      and that I am totally going to mess up the plans of our hospitality
      committee for the festal meal they plan afterwards...
      So is anything taken from Small Vespers at all? Seems to me a lot is
      repeated from Great Vespers, why not add some hymnography from Small
      Vespers?

      There is no Vesperal Liturgy on the 24th. There is a
      Vespers/Presanctified. The festal stichera are from Great Vespers:
      Gabriel stood before thee, O Maiden...etc. These are preceded by
      the Triodion sticheron in tone 7 twice.
