      <b>PART ONE</b><br>
      A couple of months before the events of "Pacifica",
      <I>Pegasus</I> encountered three Orion phase vessels and
      prevented them from pillaging an innocent freighter ship.
      After disabling two of them using Lt. Commander Hawk's method
      of 'tagging' the ships and forcing them to phase back into
      our reality, <I>Pegasus</I> chased the third ship into the
      vast and mysterious Diva Nebula, a nebula that ship had once
      partially charted using LORASON technology. The nebula is
      difficult to chart or navigate through, as unexplained
      emissions inside the nebula and the matter contained in the
      nebula naturally block or obfuscate sensor readings.
      <P>
      <I>Pegasus</I> entered the nebula and came upon a strange
      clearing near the middle of the nebula that may help describe
      part of what makes Diva so hard to penetrate. In the
      clearing, the crew found a strange wormhole-like spatial
      anomaly connecting the Alpha Quadrant to the far end of the
      Beta Quadrant The Orion vessel entered through the opening
      far too small for Pegasus to follow.
      <P>
      Instead, something emerged from the anomaly - a strange
      probe-like device. Commander Poe and Lieutenant Farrell
      recognized it, but not in time. After the probe began to
      scan <I>Pegasus</I>, Poe orders Commander Radimir to fire
      upon it. Radimir unfortunately chooses this moment to
      question his captain's orders, and is surprised to see Poe,
      Farrell, and a few other personnel disappear from view after
      a soft, pink light falls over the entire ship. Radimir and
      the remaining crew learn that nearly half the crew has
      vanished, and receive another surprise when the probe shoots
      forth two round objects that drain <I>Pegasus'</I> shields.
      The bad news comes in threes as alien beings board the ship
      and render the entire bridge crew unconscious! Meanwhile, a
      boarding party materializes in Main Engineering, forcing
      Prince and the other engineers to flee as the people in
      Sickbay do the same, led by Doctors Breedan and Jones and
      Counselor Asher, who had been visiting Sickbay at the time.
      <P>
      When the bridge crew comes to, Radimir is displeased to
      discover that the women leading the boarding parties -
      Allana, Allova, and Aldera of the Brekestral - have rewritten
      <I>Pegasus'</I> command codes and are now in control of the
      ship. However, Allana wants Radimir to order his crew into
      the cargo bays and stop resisting the occupation. When he
      balks, she shows she's serious by killing one of the bridge
      crew, and threatens to kill the crew she has in stasis -
      starting with Commander Poe - unless he complies.
      <P>
      As Radimir contemplates the fate of the ship and Hawk fights
      off an overeager Allova's interest in his ... assets, the
      doctors in sickbay and the engineers meet in a hallway to
      contemplate a way to take back control of the ship from the
      Brekestral dominatrixes. As they talk, a tall man dressed in
      a strange outfit suddenly appears in front of them. He
      identifies himself as Jarrak Caleb, and tells the
      'resistance' that he's here to help them.
      <P>
      ---<br>
      <P>
      <b>PART TWO</b><br>
      With <I>Pegasus</I> under the control of the Brekestral,
      Allana orders Allova to set a course for the nearest
      installation, a science center with little defensive ability.
      Allana wishes to test out the abilities of her "new
      starship". While Radimir and Hawk try to figure out a way to
      regain control of the ship from the bridge, Elizabeth Hanson
      uses a little psychological warfare against Allana, keeping
      her off-kilter, and saving Hawk from being killed by the
      Brekestral.
      <P>
      A few decks below, Jarrak Caleb is checked out by Dr. Jones,
      whose tricorder scans show he is not human. Caleb asks the
      'resistance' to help him stop the ship, and Alexia Fox and
      CPO Prince lead Caleb, Counselor Asher, and the doctors to
      the antimatter tanks control room on Deck 16. Asher stops
      the group, sensing three Brekestral males in the room. Caleb
      uses one of his myriad of devices, dematerializing the
      individuals and storing their patterns in a device worn
      across his body. With the room clear, and with Dr. Breedan's
      suggestion that Caleb mask their life signs, the 'resistance'
      cell enters the room and prepares to jettison the antimatter
      tanks.
      <P>
      At the same time on the bridge, Allana grows tired of the
      continued fighting breaking out across various portions of
      the ship. After Radimir takes too long to order his entire
      crew to the cargo bays, Allana orders Aldera to lock on to
      people throughout the ship and transport them into the cargo
      bays against their will. The plan is successful, and soon
      nearly the entire crew remaining aboard <I>Pegasus</I>, save
      those on the bridge and the group with Jarrak Caleb. When
      Breedan steps too far out of the range of Caleb's localized
      lifesign-blocking device, he too is transported to the cargo
      bays. On the bridge, Aldera notices that a lifeform suddenly
      appeared in the control room on Deck 16 where none had been
      before, and alerts Allana. Allana orders Aldera to lock on
      to the entire room and beam the people in it to the bridge,
      realizing the sensors had been fooled. PO2 Fox jettisons the
      antimatter tanks, bringing Pegasus to a rough halt as it
      drops out of warp just as Aldera locks on and transports Fox,
      Jones, Prince and Asher to the bridge, leaving only Caleb
      behind.
      <P>
      The group is caught off guard, and Prince and Asher are both
      downed by the Brekestral as a huge fight ensues on the
      bridge. Jones and Fox pull their weapons, and give Hanson,
      Radimir, and Hawk the diversion they need to take back the
      ship. Hanson renders Allova unconscious at the helm, and
      Radimir and Hawk take out Allana. As Aldera is shot, she
      pushes a button on her belt, and <I>Pegasus'</I>
      auto-destruct sequence is initiated! With only Allana
      authorized to give command codes, the turbolifts still
      sealed, and the transporters out of their control, the crew
      on the bridge have no way to get down to Engineering and
      manually override the countdown! As they do what they can
      from the bridge, Jarrak Caleb makes his way to Main
      Engineering, fighting off the last of the Brekestral warriors
      through an innovative use of his advanced technology, then
      manages to enter the proper codes just in time.
      <P>
      A few hours later, the senior staff assembles in the
      observation lounge to speak with Jarrak Caleb, and they
      finally find out the reason for his folded-space transport
      aboard <I>Pegasus</I>. The Brekestral recently illicitly
      acquired some of the advanced technology belonging to the
      Alliance, a group in control of space on the far side of the
      Beta Quadrant. Among those devices: the phase cloak, which
      the Brekestral then in turn sold to the Orions for use aboard
      their vessels, thus explaining how the Orions came by the
      powerful technology. Poe offers to open diplomatic relations
      with the Alliance, but the slightly reptilian Caleb declines,
      stating that the Federation is not advanced enough to be
      bothered with. After saying goodbye to the 'monkeys', the
      Alliance agent vanishes from sight.
      <P>
      Lieutenant Farrell leaves to Fox's quarters to speak with
      her, and finds her having just gotten out of the bathtub.
      After starting to speak with her, Fox drops her towel, giving
      Farrell quite a shock, as he faints dead away on her carpet.

      Special thanks to Jester, who took some time out to fill in
      for the original person who was to play Allova but failed to
      show up last minute. It's always nice to have a guest star
      of such calibur, even if he does sometimes bring a ...
      <I>different</I> slant to his characters. ;) Thanks also to
      Farrell for stepping in to play the James Bond like-agent
      with a superiority complex.

      This episode marks the beginning of Pegasus Season 3, even
      though it takes place prior to "Pacifica" at an unspecified

      "Come Hell or High Water".

        <P>
        This episode marks the beginning of Pegasus Season 3, even
        though it takes place prior to "Pacifica" at an unspecified
        time. After "Revenge of the Beta Quadrant Dominatrixes!",
        the tie-up to our Season 2 cliffhanger will commence with
        "Come Hell or High Water".
