      THE e-NTERNATIONAL UPNquirer
      Volume 1 - Issue 2 -- Monday October 3rd, 2005

      In this Issue:
Ebony second to go on Top Model
      Why Doesn't Everybody Hate Chris?
Oh Veronica, How We Love Thee
      Discovering the Nowhere Man
      Where Are They Now?

EBONY SECOND TO GO ON TOP MODEL
All of the girls got made over on the third episode of America's Next Top
Model, most of whom liked they're new styles. Cassandra, the former pagent
girl, was the only one to really dislike her new style, going from lengthy
hair to a short, blonde doo. When the girls got to their photo shoot they
were told that they would be facing off one on one with each other in photo
showdowns. Each pair of girls would wear identical outfits and would be
challenged to do a better job then the other girl. At the eventual
elimination at the end of the episode the better photo in each pairing won
that girl a sort-of immunity in being eliminated, as the other six girls stood
in wait for the calling of names and presentation of photos. Ebony was the
final girl and was eliminated. My girl Jayla continued, even though she
wasn't in the first six of the 'better' photos. I hope she steps it up and
      continues on to the end!

      WHY DOESN'T EVERYBODY HATE CHRIS?
Everybody Hates Chris debuted two weeks ago to impressive numbers on UPN. The
debut was UPN's highest rated comedy premiere in the network's ten year
history and the third highest premiere ever for the network, behind Star Trek:
Voyager in 1995 and Star Trek: Enterprise in 2001. The premiere even topped
the season premiere of the NBC comedy and Friends spinoff 'Joey.' If you
haven't seen the show yet you need to see what everybody is talking about!
It's a fantastic, clever and hilarious show, deserving of the title 'best
      comedy of the season.'

The rest of the Thursday lineup, including the new comedy Love, Inc. is
performing alright, but not up to the level of Chris.

OH VERONICA, HOW WE LOVE THEE
UPN's critically acclaimed drama has returned for a second season and is
better than ever! After solving the year long mystery last season of who
killed her best friend Lily Kane, among dozens of other mysteries through the
year, Veronica is back for her senior year at Neptune High and her sophmore
season on UPN. Now Veronica is struggling to figure out who really killed one
of Weevil's gang and now what really happened to the school bus that drove off
the cliff, killing six of her schoolmates. Was it an accident? Was it the
driver committing suicide? The season is just getting started and it's
already turning into a thrilling mystery. If you've never seen the series
that Buffy creator calls "Best. Show. Ever." and TV Guide calls "The best show
you're not watching." you owe it to yourself to check it out. The next all
new episode airs Wednesday at 9/8c on UPN!

      DISCOVERING THE NOWHERE MAN
If you didn't catch it the critically acclaimed UPN drama series when it first
aired you'll soon get your chance to soon. No, I'm not talking about Veronica
Mars, the critical darling currently airing on UPN Wednesday nights. I'm
talking about Nowhere Man, starring Bruce Greenwood. This amazingly deep and
rich drama series aired for only one season in the fall of 1995 but got
critics raving early on. Though the series got off to a solid start following
the second season of Star Trek: Voyager on Monday nights, by the end of the
series' freshman run the ratings for the series suffered and resulted in it's
      cancellation.

Bruce Greenwood stars as documentary photographer Thomas Veil, who, in the
course of one evening, seemingly has his whole existence erased, in the
compelling one-hour drama Nowhere Man. It appears as if some mysterious and
powerful entity has coerced Veil's wife, mother and closest friends into
cooperating in a clandestine master plan to annul any trace of his life. Veil
is all alone with no option but to begin a desperate, dangerous quest to find
out how and why this has happened and most importantly, who is behind this
      torturous conspiracy.

The once stable Veil, overwhelmed with this strange experience, begins to
question his own sanity. Every aspect of his life changes without waming. His
wife acts as if he's a stranger and another man is posing as her husband. His
keys no longer fit the lock on his home or photo gallery. One way or another,
friends and family are silenced. Appearing to be deluded and paranoid, Veil is
eventually forced into a psychiatric hospital. There, he learns that even the
doctors are part of the mysterious plan to annihilate his identity.
Determined to preserve his life, he escapes from the hospital. Now completely
alone, Veil sets out on a cross-country course -- searching for answers while
eluding his unknown enemy. His only clue to the possible motivation behind
this ordeal is the disappearance of one of his photographs, "Hidden Agenda,"
depicting an execution in a third world country.

Nowhere Man is definitly a must-have when the complete series comes to DVD
      this December!

      WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
      MATTHEW FOX - HAUNTED (2002)
Matthew Fox starred for one short-lived season in 2002 in the supernatural
drama series Haunted as Frank Casey who, after having a near death experience,
gains the chilling ability to recieve visions from beyond. The series, while
intense and rough, didn't find an audience as the leadout from Buffy the
Vampire Slayer and was pulled from the schedule prematurely. Matthew Fox can
be seen currently on the smash ABC drama series Lost.
