Re: Not Elaphoglossum spathulatum
- I have accepted my mystery fern to be Elaphoglossum pygmaeum, at least until I get to know a better candidate. If I don't sound fully convinced, that's because I haven't seen any detailed description yet, only the original latin protologue. But the photos posted by Robbin Moran definitely show some similarity and since this is a rather characterful fern, I think it very well could be the one, despite the much longer lamina in Robbins pictures. Moreover, these photos, like most collections of E. pygmaeum, were taken very close to where I have found my petits.
