      Please distribute the following announcement widely:

      The CDC Global AIDS Program in Malawi is seeking a highly qualified Counseling and Testing Specialist.  The position will  serve as the primary technical expert and point-of-contact for the USG on all HIV Counseling and Testing (HCT) activities. Qualified applicants with international experience are encouraged to apply for this exciting and rewarding position.

      The Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is seeking applications from qualified applicants for a Counseling and Testing Specialist position located in Lilongwe, Malawi. The resultant contract shall be a Personal Services Contract (PSC).
      ISSUANCE DATE: November 26, 2007
      CLOSING DATE/TIME: December 11, 2007 at 4:00PM Eastern Standard Time

      POSITION TITLE:     HIV Counseling and Testing Specialist

      MARKET VALUE: $49,500 to 85,350 per year -- Final compensation will be based on individual salary history, work experience, and educational background.     

      PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: One Base Year and Four Option Years     

      PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Lilongwe, Malawi

      SECURITY CLEARANCE:     NACI

      ELIGIBILITY:     United States Citizens and residents and third country nationals.     Citizens and permanent residents of the host country are not eligible for this position.
