The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is currently seeking a Public Health Advisor (PHA) for the Global AIDS Program (GAP) in Nairobi, Kenya. The incumbent will serve as the Assistant Director of Operations (ADO) and function as the principal management person for all GAP activities in Kenya. The incumbent also serves as coordinator in Kenya of CDC programs such as those directly administered by DPD/NCID, DHAP-SE/NCHSTP, NIP, and others. Additional responsibilities include program planning and evaluation, formulation and implementation of policy and program operations, management of resources, property, contracts, memorandums of agreement, and procurement activities.
This is a two-year assignment that may be extended for an additional two years. Moving expenses are authorized.
