Who you gonna call? Aircraft carrier loaded with ghosts

Alameda, California-AP -- There have been so many reports of spirits
aboard the aircraft carrier "Hornet" that some folks wonder if it's
      time to call Ghostbusters.

The ship is now a national landmark. Since it arrived in Alameda,
California six years ago, there have been several hundred reports of
ghosts and other apparitions. Staff and volunteers report doors
slamming in their faces, gusts of cold wind, unexplained noises and
visions of World War Two guards. Hornet supervisor Bob Fowler says he
never believed in ghosts until he began working aboard the ship. He
says he has seen a military man in a khaki uniform many
times. Officials say about 300 people died aboard the ship during
combat duty from World War Two to Vietnam.
