The June Bootids will peak on June 27th at around 19:30 UT. This
translates to early afternoon in North America and early evening in
Europe. Those of us in North America and Europe can choose to view in
the pre-dawn hours of Friday morning and/or the pre-dawn hours of
      Saturday morning.

This shower has an hourly rate between 0 and 100. Yes, that zero is
correct. In some years there is no activity and in other years there
can be much activity. So it's a bit of a gamble, but worth trying if
you have the spare time since the Moon will offer no interference for
the June Bootids this year. The last outburst year was in 1998.
