      #1. Lost Moon-landing Tape Found

      Tense moments before the touchdown

By BBC News Online science editor Dr David Whitehouse
A dramatic recording of the first manned landing on the Moon has been rediscovered at Nasa's Johnson Space Center in Texas.

The tape covers the crucial few minutes as the Apollo 11 lander touches down on the surface of the Earth's satellite in July 1969.

The recording is of the flight director, Gene Kranz, and his "white team" of mission controllers. Each member of the team was responsible for one aspect of the landing, such as fuel, altitude, orientation, crew health, etc.

The rescued recording of the perilous descent combines the flight director/controller loop with the astronaut loop. It also covers the decision about whether the astronauts should remain on the Moon following the landing - or immediately lift off.

      Flight director Gene Kranz

The impetus to locate the tape came from Kipp Teague, who runs an online resource of data on the Apollo Moon landings.

      'Bad tape'

It was found in the audio library at Nasa's space centre in Houston. The recording had been labelled "bad tape" because it was in a very poor condition.

Initially, it could not be played, being so poorly tensioned on its spool. It was also starting to disintegrate, shedding metal oxide particles from its recording surface.

The tape frequently adhered to itself as it was played. Nasa technicians said they were lucky to get the tape to play at all.

As well as astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, the most prominent voice is that of Gene Kranz, the flight director, who was overseeing the landing.

He can be heard consulting with his mission controllers and passing information on to Charlie Duke, the so-called capcom, who talked directly with the astronauts.

Of particular interest is the "T1" decision. After landing, the flight controller had to decide whether to remain on the Moon or to leave after one minute.

You can listen to the tape by clicking on the audio box at the top-right of their web page.

#2. Book In Review - Sexual Encounters With Extraterrestrials by: C. L. Turnage

DESCRIPTION: Newly edited and formatted, C. L. Turnage researched "firsthand" accounts of sexual contact with extraterrestrials. Amazing information suggests that many ET races are having intimate relations with humans on a regular basis. Meet courageous individuals who claim to have experienced torrid sexual affairs with "Reptilians," "Nordics," and other ET races. Glimpse the technology imparted to us by these-innocent earthlings as they visit on-board spaceships. Explore the author's theories concerning the illicit rendezvous with humans. And finally, a completely new chapter considering the possibility that Jesus was actually a hybrid produced by "ET fertilization."

PUBCOMMENTS: C. L. Turnage continues to explore "uncharted" territory in the UFO genre. The stories that she relates are not science fiction, but detailed "first hand" reports of carnal interludes with ET's as explained by the actual contactees. Before you "pooh pooh" the idea, consider Mary's (New Testament) "immaculate conception" with an "angel of the Lord."

      Magazines & Periodicals

EXCERPT: From Chapter 2: An Extraordinary Seduction By A Female Extraterrestrial: We shall begin our discussion of extraterrestrial sexual encounters with perhaps the most well known, and widely publicized ET seduction in the UFO mythos, That of Antonio Villas Boaz. According to the French cyberneticist, Joel de Rosnay, "the higher the degree of strangeness in any event, the greater its information yield is likely to be." ... Twenty-three year old Antonio Villas Boaz, ran a farm near Francisco de Sales in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. At approximately 11:00 PM, on October 5, 1957, a peculiar light set down on top of his house. ...To Antonio's horror, four small man-like creatures ... forcibly dragged him inside the craft. ...He recovered ... it was at this point that that the door opened, and a small naked lady came into the room. ... Her skin was white, and her arms were freckled.

      C. L. Turnage is a freelance writer and speaker with an extensive background in History and Ancient Languages. She has studied over three hundred translations of Ancient Mesopotamian and Vedic Scriptures, Hebrew and Greek Scriptures, Egyptian Writings, and extra-biblical books such as Enoch The Prophet. She is a member of the Ancient Astronaut Society and MUFON. She has been a guest on over 500 radio and television programs and is published in many magazines, newspapers, and periodicals. Her research is footnoted in numerous books the world over. In this book, Turnage "turns the screw" one more notch as she delves into the secret "sexual" experiences of abductees and contactees. Tweety-one cases has been included in her most controversial book yet. The final chapter suggests that the Biblical story of Jesus (son of man) half human and (Son of God) half God, is one hybrid genetic manipulation. Is it possible that Mary gave birth to the hybrid Messiah?

#3. Why We Need Conspiracy Theories by: BBC News Online's Charlotte Parsons

Conspiracy theories make the world seem safer

The moon landing was faked, Princess Diana was murdered and JFK was the victim of an elaborate CIA assassination plot.

When major historic events shake our world, conspiracy theories are seldom far behind.

The US terror attacks are no exception. The dust had barely settled on New York before the cloaks and daggers came out.

Less than two weeks after the disaster, BBC News Online found itself inundated with e-mails seeking confirmation of the various theories now circling the globe.

Hundreds of them cite a web page that lambasted the CNN for stirring up anti-Arab sentiment by running "fake footage" of Palestinians cheering over the attacks on the US.

If you think it's a rogue person or an unsophisticated group you start worrying about your daily life

      Psychology Professor Cary Cooper
The news network is accused of digging out 10-year-old images of celebrations that followed the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait and passing them off as Palestinian displays of anti-Americanism.

The allegations can be traced back to a message posted on Chicago Indymedia's website.

"Think for a moment about the impact of such images," the text urges visitors. "This kind of broadcast has a very high possibility of causing waves of anger and rage against the Palestinians."

Another popular theory holds that the Israelis working in the World Trade Center left the building shortly before the attacks. In a similar vein, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is said to have cancelled a visit that would have placed him in New York on 11 September.

The implication: The terror attacks were a trick designed to turn world opinion against Israel's Muslim enemies.

The theories are unsourced, unfounded and untrue. But they are spreading fast.

      Human nature

This begs the question: Where do conspiracy theories come from? What is it in human nature that drives us to create alternative worlds peopled by shadowy figures?

Are we paranoid, delusional or just plain bored?

According to Psychology Professor Cary Cooper we are trying to stave off fear of random violence and unpredictable death.

There are 36,000 Diana conspiracy web sites

"They do that because they can't come to terms with the fact that it could be just a few people," said Professor Cooper, who lectures at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.

"If you think it's a rogue person or an unsophisticated group you start worrying about your daily life. If this can happen, what sense of security can you have?"

We create alternate realities because we reject the world where a single madman can bring down a president, a reckless driver can snuff out a princess... and a few men with knives can terrorise a country.

The internet helps the theories grow and spread. An estimated 36,000 Princess Diana conspiracy web sites were created after her death.

      Ripple effect

Professor Cooper predicts that, in the weeks ahead, US terror attack theories will expand and become attributed to an ever larger group of culprits.

"We simply can't believe a small number of people could be behind it," he says, adding that a similar ripple effect followed the John F Kennedy shooting.

Conspiracy theories are not unique to Western culture. Experts say they have operated in many societies throughout history.

On a certain psychological level, we appear to need them.

Giving misery and injustice an identity makes life more bearable, according to Jeffrey Bale, who writes for an online magazine that examines the phenomenon.

"Conspiracy theories account for current crises and upheavals and explain why bad things are happening to good people or vice versa," he said.

#4. Missing Auctioneer Come Home by: Giselle Goodman, Portland Press Herald Writer http://www.portland.com/news/york/010925auctioner.shtml

LYMAN — Claude VanTassel came home Monday, 72 days after his well-publicized disappearance.

Although his family is relieved he's back, VanTassel was unable to say why he left or where he's been. Family members say he doesn't seem to remember much.

"He's in this fog," said his wife, Beatrice VanTassel. "He didn't know he existed."

VanTassel's return ends a case that began July 15, when the 65-year-old auctioneer went to buy coffee and never returned. Investigators tracked him through at least four states, prompting speculation he was on a gambling spree, a victim of foul play, or just didn't want to be found.

"I have no idea what he did out there," said Detective Arthur Titcomb of the York County Sheriff's Department. "It's a strange thing for somebody to do."

The day he left his South Waterboro Road home, VanTassel told his son that he was going out for coffee at Dunkin' Donuts.

That night, investigators learned, he was seen at the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, Conn., where he bought some toiletry items and a slot-machine-shaped bank souvenir.

Police and family members heard nothing of him until Aug. 19, when VanTassel's Ford Ranger pickup was found in a hospital parking lot in Warren City, Ohio.

The discovery stumped investigators. VanTassel left behind no clues that made sense. Before he left Maine, he had complained of chest pains. He was also under a lot of stress. His auctioneering business wasn't doing well and a son had been diagnosed with cancer. His family assumed the worst had happened.

But last Friday, police in Davenport, Iowa, received a report from the local motor vehicle office that on Sept. 17, Claude VanTassel applied for an identification card. VanTassel listed his address as that of a home for displaced men in Davenport, police said.

Davenport police Cpl. Jeff Estlund said an officer went to the shelter and found VanTassel. "He was of sound mind and body," Estlund said.

He said VanTassel initially told police he did not want to be contacted by his family. But on Saturday morning, VanTassel called his sister in Waterville. He told her the police gave him her number but he didn't recognize her.

VanTassel's sister told him to call his daughter, Susan, who told him he needed to call Beatrice because she was worried. Susan then gave VanTassel his phone number.

      VanTassel reached Beatrice Saturday night.

At first, Beatrice said, he didn't recognize her voice. But slowly, she said, he began to remember who she was and where he was from.

On Sunday, the shelter bought him a bus ticket to Portland. He arrived back in Maine at 8 a.m. Monday, dressed in the same checkered shirt and blue slacks he was wearing when he left.

"He stood there and looked at us like he didn't know us," Beatrice said. "And then he recognized us."

What memories VanTassel does have are scattered. He said he remembers leaving the house on July 15, going for a coffee and just driving. He remembers being in Ohio, wondering where he left his truck. He remembers seeing a black squirrel in Iowa and thinking it was strange.

But how he got from one place to another, and what he did during the blocks of time in between, remains unclear.

Titcomb said he considers the case closed, although he is not sure the mystery will ever be solved.

Beatrice VanTassel said she doesn't think her husband ate much while he was away, because he has lost so much weight. He is also tired and disoriented.

She said she is overjoyed that her husband has finally found his way home.

"It's such a relief to know he was all right," Beatrice said as Claude, surrounded by family members, rested in his favorite easy chair. "I knew he wasn't out there having a good time. He had no money. Not even to buy coffee with."

#6. The North Bay UFO Sightings by: Matt DeBow

You don't have to go far to find UFO and alien sighting and stories. Here are a few from the North Bay and Northern California. The first incident was in Novato, California October 23rd 1975 in the small
community sub division called Bahaia near the Petaluma River, 10 miles east of 101. Mark W. And a few friends were out in their car partying on a hill over the sub division. The four observed a ring of light 50 feet in diameter. The light began to spin and then the light went straight up into the air. There seemed to be a small red ball that followed closely or was attached to the bottom of the object, nobody could tell for sure.

Later that drizzly wet evening Mark's family were at home and the family dog outside started barking uncontrollably and wanting to come inside so badly it broke it's chain. Kirt, Mark's brother was out in the garage with his father when they heard his mother scream from the kitchen. Kirt and his Dad ran to the kitchen to see his mom in panic when they arrived. She said she had seen a man in a metallic suite, the being had no eyes on it's face and a slit for a mouth with a pointy looking head. When she screamed she said the being ran up the hill at an extremely high speed faster than a normal person. Later that evening Kirt and his younger brother Scott saw out in the distance what looked like glowing a object reflecting off of and above the trees. The next morning Kirt and his brother when to the location where the glow was coming from and discovered three 4 foot circles on the ground equally spaced apart in the shape of a triangle. The grass was all spun in circles in the same direction. From his description the circles sound much like the more current phenomena of crop circles. They had a
family meeting and decided not to call the authorities. Within a few days the stories spread and other people in the community ridiculed them.

Another incident in the same vicinity nearly 10 years later occurred with a different breed of alien. It was November 10, 1984 in Inverness California, Steven Hall was overcome with a feeling that something was
watching him. It was after midnight on yet another wet and drizzly night when Steven and his wife looked out their kitchen window. To their surprise they saw two of the most absurd creatures one could imagine. These creatures were no more that two feet away from the
window. One of them made eye contact with Steven, Steven said the creature stood there staring at him not moving at all. He said the eye contact was freighting, and that it was as if the alien was
"looking into your soul". It was difficult for Steven to break eye contact with the alien. His wife quickly closed the curtains. Asking his wife what she saw she replied "I just saw two little men". Steven at this point went straight to his roommate's door and began beating on it. The roommate in his half sleeping state ran outside thinking that someone was snooping around the house. He ran out the front door and around the corner to see one of the creatures from about fifteen
feet for a few seconds. In his description he said the creature seemed surprised, then it slowly turned its head, ducked down and made its way off into the thick evergreen. The three of them best describe the
creatures to be about four feet tall with an extremely thin body. Their hands extended to their knees, and they wore what the witnesses suspect was a skintight suit that shimmered in the light. The eyes were a soft
diamond shape, there was a small rise for a nose, and the mouth was barley a slit with a very displeasing look on it. The motive of these aliens is still a mystery.

I get calls, letters, emails and faxes about UFO and alien related incidents. I don't always have the time or resources to go out and investage every story that I here about. The next hand story is from a person that hikes extensively throughout Northern California collecting Native American artifacts. I got this story second hand a while ago but hesitated publishing it for a couple of reasons. One is that I have not been able to look into this more personally and two because it appears to be a highly top secret facility. So I have decided not to disclose the location but include the story herein. Silver and gold mines have left mountains hollowed out all over California. Rumor has it this mountain just got a new lease on life. This story has been slightly altered to protect the innocent.

Locals have called it "Hollow Mountain" saying that the mountain is basically hollow. Well I guess NASA herd the same rumor and set up a facility at the foot of the mountain to make good use of that opportunity. A couple who has lived on the mountain for years was
watching their television one night and came across a channel that had in the past always been static only on this day there was something being aired on it and the reception was clear as day. What this couple saw on the television channel was major construction, bulldozers, tractors going every which way. They were shocked to say the least. Asking around they found out that NASA has opened a facility nearby. This relived some of the mystery, and the couple figuring that it
was the close circuit system and their TV had picked up the signal. This construction went on for quite a while.

Because of their remote location TV reception had always been a problem, not being on the cable system. One day turning on the television, all of the stations that in the past had barley come in were clear for no apparent reason. Turning to the construction channel
the couple found it was gone. Happy enough to have great reception they didn't think much about why the change had occured. Shortly after the TV incident couple started noticing strange lights flying around
at night. One of the most bizarre peculiarities is that these lights would on some nights make no noise at all and on others sound like airplanes, helicopters or jets. It seemed as if these vehicles could create any noise they choose. Getting an interest in all of this activity they began watching the sky more closely and discovered that the object would regularly leave at 11pm and return at 3am. With much curiosity they decided to do some hiking on the mountain and
pinpointed 2 locations where these objects would seem to have come and go from.

One night watching TV, everything went totally static. They went outside to see the antenna or what might be causing the disruption to discovered a strange dark ominous object hovering over their house, making no noise. One of them ran inside and got their infrared scope. Looking up at the bottom of this vehicle they discovered the NASA logo. If there is merit to this story and NASA has this type of technology let's hope their protecting our skies. If I were to speculate
about this incident I'd say it sounds like humans flying in crafts that are built with extraterrestrial parts and technology, my guess at the terminology would be astro-technology.

It is even hard for me to believe there is so much paranormal activity happing in our backyards, but it is and people should come forward. Coming forward doesn't necessarily mean going to the authorities or
contacting the Airforce. Take the time to write down you experience and send it off to UFO or alternative publications. If you have had an experience please sent it to us here at the Psychic Reader c/o Matt
DeBow it is always appreciated, thank you. Phone 925-945-5500 or on this website www.ufochronicles.com

#7. Australian - Abductions Of The Far Off Kind by: Keith Basterfield

      ParaNet File Number: 00048
DATE OF ARTICLE : August 1989
      TITLE : Australian Abduction Cases
      AUTHOR : Keith Basterfield

      1. 1955 ADELAIDE, South Australia. A 10 year old girl, Janet X., was being treated for a slight nervous disorder. Whilst under hypnosis for this condition she recounted a story of her interaction with aliens and a flying saucer. Whilst in trance she spoke of being in a saucer with three "men", and of visiting a planet with an advanced society

      2. 11 August 1966 VICTORIA. A Miss Marlene Travers, of Melbourne, is
reported to have observed a large silver disc land near her. It is claimed that she was abducted and raped by an alien wearing a loose fitting metallic green tunic. Investigations reveal that this account is most likely a journalistic hoax.

      3. 1971 GLADSTONE, Queensland. A Finnish couple, Ben and Helen K. left
Gladstone at about 11.35 p.m. and upon arrival in Rockhampton found that only 40 minutes had passed on a trip which would normally take much longer. In addition to the rapid trip they could not recall passing through intervening places although they recall seeing an unusual green light at one stage. Their 1971 Valiant sedan was reportedly covered with a thin film of odourless oil, and unusual marks were noted on the car's bonnet. Attempts at hypnotising the couple were unsuccessful.

      4. July 1972 and subsequent times. FRANKSTON, Victoria In early 1972 a Mrs Maureen Puddy reported observing a disc shaped object in the sky. Later in July she related that her car stopped itself as the same object hovered overhead. Several months later she recounted being "mentally" abducted into a room, and of observing an entity there. This latter event occurred whilst two other people were physically present with Mrs Puddy but they only reported that Mrs Puddy lapsed into unconsciousness. On a later occasion she said the entity again appeared to her when she was driving the car.

      5. 1973 SPRINGWOOD, New South Wales. One night 2 men were asleep in a
caravan on a remote building site, when one was awoken by a blue light
projecting from a hovering aerial disc. A time lapse occurred of some 2
hours. He felt that some "beings-Caucasian types" were somehow involved.

      6. 1974 CANBERRA, Australian Capital Territory. Two young women felt
compelled to get into their car which then allegedly drove itself to a
certain spot. They were escorted by a brilliant white light source. Vague human shapes were seen as well as strange noises heard. There was an episode of "missing time" involved.

      7. 1975/76 SYDNEY, New South Wales. A women recalls that as a young girl, aged 4-5 years, she saw a small being with large eyes in her bedroom during the day time. She had little conscious recall of details of the event other than that she felt she went "somewhere else".

      8. September 1978 JINDABYNE, New South Wales. Two young men, out hunting, reported seeing a bright white spherical light on the ground some little distance away. Next night it was seen again. In 1983 one of the men began to recall memories of a 2 hour time lapse on one of those nights. One memory was of the 2 men being floated into a room where they were placed on a table and examined by tall, white coloured beings.

      9. 1978-1982 NEW SOUTH WALES. A Sydney woman woke up feeling agitated and heard a voice. Figures appeared and said to come with them. She went through a doorway into a room where she watched a scene on a screen. This screen showed pictures of her future life, which later came true. The case is currently under active investigation.

      10. 1976 ELLIOTT, Northern Territory. An old man is said to have been
abducted after a bright object landed near him. Beings alighted and took him aboard. He said they asked him questions about life on Earth and our activities, before they returned him unharmed to the pick up point.

      11. 1976 Country New South Wales. A 31 year old woman was overcome by a feel ing of sickness, whilst vacuuming her house. 3 strange figures were seen in front of her. There was apparently telepathic communication and advice that she had to go with them. The next thing she remembers is it was 5 hours later and her fiancee had arrived home.

      12. February 1976 HOBART, Tasmania. A man and his wife had gone to bed, and she fell asleep leaving him awake. Suddenly through the closed door came 3 figures. One tried to put a bag over the man's legs in an apparent abduction attempt. He attempted to awake his wife, whereupon the figures departed through the window.

      13. Mar 1977 GISBORNE, New Zealand. Three women were involved in an apparent abduction case in the midst of a large UFO flap. Regression hypnosis on one women revealed a story of entering an object and talking to an entity.

      14. 10 Jan 1978 BAKERS CREEK FALLS, New South Wales. Gary P. had been
driving alone in the early hours of the morning when he found himself
unaccountably stationary on the side of the road at 5 a.m. He was unable to clearly remember the previous 160km. Whilst stationary he noted a really bright light hovering some distance away. Although he tried to get close to it he could not.

      15. Feb 1978 BALADONIA, Western Australia. A memory lapse of 3-3 1/2 hours is said to have been associated with the observation of two unusual lights. During this time a 30 year old truck driver says he recalls: "...talking to somebody about inventing something...also I remember speaking with two voices..." Investigators have been unable to learn more about this account.

      16. 21 October 1978 BASS STRAIT. 20 year old Frederick Valentich disappeared over Bass Strait whilst flying a Cessna aircraft between Melbourne and King Island. One of the suggestions put forward was that he had been abducted by the occupants of an object which he reported observing just before radio contact was lost with him.

      17. 1979 NILDOTTIE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA. Don and Jack recounted an abduction experience, which is alleged to have occurred near the River Murray. They were preparing for dinner when beings entered their house. They experienced a time lapse and next thing they were standing by a large silver craft. They were subjected to psychological testing for several hours before realising they were back at their kitchen table.

      18. 1979 MELBOURNE, Victoria. A man named Mark retired to bed one night at about 11 p.m. Shortly after closing his eyes he lost all sense of sound and feeling and he found himself travelling in a tunnel through space. Looking forwards he noted a light at the end of the tunnel. His next awareness was of lying on a table in a "craft". He was medically examined by 3 beings, after which he panicked and then awoke in his own bed.

      19. 5 Feb 1979 LAWITTA, Tasmania. At about 9 p.m. an intense white light lit up the bonnet of a car driven by a young man. The car engine stopped, the radio went dead and the lights went out. Later that evening the man was picked by police in Hobart for driving the car without lights. They found him to be in a dazed condition and he did not know where he was. He was taken to hospital apparently suffering from shock. The man wished no further investigation of the matter.

      20. 24 October 1981 PORT LINCOLN, South Australia. Two young men, Messrs P. and J. were travelling in a car near Port Lincoln when they encountered "a white endless space" where a time loss of several hours is said to have occurred. During this lost time they have vague memories of a "being" and recalled "...walking into a big room". Just prior to the "space" they had been watching a mysterious light in the sky. Arrangements to have the men undergo a full investigation including hypnotic regression were unsuccessful.

      21. 1983 New Zealand. A Chinese woman was awoken during the night to feel intense heat and hear 3 men speaking. Later she walked through a door into a UFO. There were 6 non human ugly "men" present. She was undressed by the men. She then found herself back in her own bed, naked.

      22. 1983 DARWIN, Northern Territory. 16 year old Simon reported a series of events which included a night time close encounter, a number of dreams and also observations of entities about the house. An investigation revealed a possible psychological explanation for the events.

      23. 1988 (?) ADELAIDE, South Australia. A man reported that he was in 2 way communication with aliens via an implant in his ear. During an investigation he revealed that he had undergone 2 apparent out-of-body experiences where he was "sucked out" of his body. He indicated that during these experiences he had been taken onboard a UFO.

      24. 1989 ADELAIDE, South Australia. A 34 year old married woman relates at least 3 episodes of unusual experiences. Firstly a bedside entity at age 11. Secondly a "time loss" in 1977 when she found herself in a "room" with beings and Earth children. Thirdly in 1989 she materialised in a "room" with alien beings.

      25. Undated ADELAIDE, South Australia. A man reported a number of abduction events. Apparently beings materialised in his bedroom, and as he became aware of their presence he feel asleep. He recalls on one instance being wheeled down a long shiny corridor into a room. He then found himself on a operating table. Later he found himself back in his own bed.

      #8. What's A DJinn?  by: John Winston johnfwin@...

A couple of years ago I used to buy some falafel sandwiches from
of a cafe on one of the main streets in Stockton, Calif. These were
being made by some recent immigrants to the Good Ole USA from
Iran or one of those other countries over there.  I became great
friends with them and sometime talked about the space people and
UFOs with them.  They had the Koran book displayed in a prominent
place in the store.  They informed me the space people sounded
just like the DJinns that were mentioned in the Koran.  Here is some
information that casts some light on the DJinns.

      From: B
      Subject: Aliens & Religion

The fact is, Aliens and Ancient religions may be closely related.
Case in Point: The Billy Meier story. Billy Meier according to Jim
Marrs book, Alien Agenda, was in contact with the Pleiadians. Now the
leader of the Pleiadians who speaks to Meiers is a female alien by
the name of "Semjase." (JW  She is a very nice lady and I enjoy
reading what she has to say.)

Compare this to the Jewish book of Enoch.

In the Book of Enoch, God commands the an-el, Michael, to go and bind
some angels who have fallen away from God by cross breeding with
human females. (Hybrid Program?) One of these fallen ones is
      named, "Semjaza".

And the Lord said unto Michael: 'Go, bind Semjaza and his
associates who have united themselves with women so as to have
defiled themselves with them in all their uncleanness<<<<

You can also find reference to this breeding program in Genesis
      Chapter six.

"And it came to pass when men began to multiply on the face of the
earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw
the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of
      all which they chose...The Nephilim were on the earth in those days;
and also after that when the sons of God came into the daughters of
men, and they bare children to them, the same became the mighty men
which were of old, men of renown." Gene-is 6: 1-4

The question is this, Is "Samjase" and "Samjaza" the same entity?
Is the cross breeding of the "Sons of Go-" and "The Watchers" from
the Bible and the book of Enoch with human females, the same behavior
      of the Alien Greys?

Now top this off with the fact that World renown Satanist, Alester
Crowley, drew a picture of a demon in 1918. The picture looks
      surprisingly like an alien grey.

Consider once again the story of Adam and Eve. Was the Serpent in
the Garden a Reptoid Alien? Now does this mean that all aliens are
      evil beings? Not necessarily.

Judeo Christianity is not the only religion to have some

Consider the Islamic tale of the DJinns. This sounds very similar to
      Aliens and or Demons.

        1. In the normal state they are not visible to ordinary human sight.
        2. They are, however, capable of materializing and appearing in the
physical world. And they can alternately make themselves visible or
      invisible at will.
        3. They can change shape, and appear in any sort of guise, large or
        4. They are able also to appear in the guise of ANIMALS. (Yetis?
      Pumas? Loch Ness Monsters?)
        5. They are inveterate liars and deceivers, and delight in
bamboozling and misleading mankind with all manner of nonsense.
        6. They are addicted to the abduction or kidnapping of humans.
        7. They delight in tempting humans into sexual intercourse and
liaisons with them, and Arabic literature abounds with accounts of
this kind of contact by mankind with both the "goodies" and
      the "baddies" among the DJINNS.
Alien visitations are not new. They are old as mankind.

#9. No Where To Hide by: Dawn Stover

There's no getting away from a satellite that can see through camouflage.

It's said the Pentagon's spy satellites can read the license plate numbers on cars. But what about a car -- or an enemy tank -- that's parked under a tree and covered with camouflage? It's virtually invisible to the prying lens of a conventional camera, no matter how powerful.

But that doesn't mean it can't be seen. The military can spot an enemy hiding in the woods thanks to a new way of looking at things from space called hyperspectral imaging. Instead of merely viewing objects in the colors that the human eye can see, hyperspectral cameras also detect colors that are invisible to the naked eye-including the infrared portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. To a hyperspectral camera, the leaves on a tree don't look anything like camouflage netting or paint. And a decoy doesn't look anything like a real vehicle, because they are made from different materials. In fact, hyperspectral imaging can even detect the subtle differences between two types of similarly colored paint-one applied to a U.S. military vehicle and the other used by an enemy. That very well could spell the end of camouflage as we know it.

By the time you read this, the military may have already begun testing an experimental hyperspectral imaging system known as Warfighter-1. In addition to spotting hidden enemies, hyperspectral images also provide clues about the conditions ground troops are likely to encounter: The soil may be too muddy for heavy armored vehicles, for example.

Hyperspectral imagery isn't only for the military. It can also be used for civilian applications-such as detecting crop blights, mapping property damage, and nabbing marijuana growers in remote areas. The military payoff, however, is expected to be huge. Warfighter-1 is piggybacking on the OrbView-4 satellite, which is scheduled to be launched by the Orbital Imaging Corp. (OrbImage) this summer. OrbView-4 will not only provide the Air Force Research Laboratory with hyperspectral images of military vehicles and other test targets at seven U.S. military bases, it will also be the world's first commercial hyperspectral imaging system in space.

OrbView-4 is a huge flying cam-era with a half-meter aperture that admits sunlight reflected by objects or surfaces on the ground. At the focal point behind the camera are two arrays of detectors. One array consists of panchromatic sensors that detect light in a single spectral band -the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum visible to the human eye. Information from these sensors is combined to form a black-and-white image with a resolution of 1 meter -equivalent to the high-resolution images produced by Space Imaging's Ikonos satellite, launched in October 1999. (A 1-meter resolution means these satellites can pick out any objects on the ground that are larger than a meter in size.)

OrbView-4's second detector array consists of multispectral sensors with a 4-meter resolution. These sensors detect light in the red, green, blue, and very-near-infrared regions. By adding multispectral data to a panchromatic image, you can create a color image that looks as though it were shot from the cockpit of an airplane.

But even in a color picture, some objects are difficult to see. The human eye cannot distinguish between vegetation and camouflage, for example. That's where hyperspectral imaging comes in-it allows us to "see" objects in colors that are normally beyond our range of vision.

Some of the reflected light entering the OrbView-4 camera is diverted to a third set of detectors comprising the Warfighter-1 imaging system. Here light is sorted into 200 different colors, or spectral bands, ranging from visible light to shortwave infrared. Each band is only about 10 nanometers wide.

"You can think of a hyperspectral image as being a stack of 200 pictures, each of a separate spectral band," says Randy Kindsfather, program manager for the Warfighter program at Northrop Grumman, which built the imaging system. When you combine all of these pictures, you get a "spectral signature" of a scene.

It's difficult to analyze such an image simply by looking at it. Because the identification of objects in the image relies on their spectral signatures rather than literal interpretation, analysts use computers to help them process the images and extract useful information. One way to process a hyperspectral image is to look at individual color bands. "Depending on what colors you select, you might highlight different things," says Joe Dodd, vice president of national programs for OrbImage, developer of OrbView-4.

Camouflage paint won't keep an enemy hidden, either. In the shortwave infrared portion of the spectrum, many paints are transparent. So you can use these bands to look at materials beneath the paint.

Another way to process a hyperspectral image is to look at each element of the image and compare it with the elements around it. "You can look at the background, look at something you suspect might not be background, and ask 'Are they really different?'" says Kindsfather. You can also compare the spectral signature of an unidentified object with a library of known signatures.

A typical hyperspectral image, after processing, looks like an ordinary picture except that you can add special colors to identify objects of interest: For example, you can make all the oak trees in a forest look red. With a resolution of 8 meters, Warfighter-1 will be able to spot large targets of military interest. Future hyperspectral systems with higher resolution may even be able to find recently buried land mines. "The disturbed soil is spectrally different than undisturbed soil," explains Rich Madonna, senior adviser for electro-optical systems at Northrop Grumman.

Although commercial customers will be able to purchase hyperspectral images from OrbImage, the resolution won't be as high as for military images-only 20 meters. The cost for each image will probably be around $20,000, says Dodd of OrbImage.

If that sounds high, consider the potential value of such an image to a vineyard owner, for example. "If we can produce imagery that allows early detection of insect blight, and early intervention, that information may be nearly priceless," says Dodd.

Hyperspectral images could also be a valuable tool for mineral exploration companies searching for rare ores in remote areas. "We can take images of parts of the world where you can't even get people to, or it's extraordinarily expensive to do any exploration," says Dodd.

Although hyperspectral imaging satellites offer global coverage, they do have some limitations. They can't see at night or through heavy cloud cover, and enemies may know exactly when the imaging system will be passing overhead because orbits are predictable. Still, it won't be easy to hide from these all-seeing eyes in space. The only camouflage that can fool a hyperspectral imager is a material with the same spectral signature as the real thing.

Hyperspectral "tags" on vehicles may also save soldiers' lives by reducing the incidence of friendly fire casualties in war. "You could basically put a coating on your assets so you could identify friend from foe," says Madonna. "The foe must have a hyperspectral sensor to see the marker, and must know that it is a marker."

For now, Warfighter-1 is experimental and not ready for combat. "It's in its infancy," says Alan Murdoch, director of commercial and civil space programs at Northrop Grumman. "But it's going to grow, not only in the military uses but also in the commercial arena."

#10. Entangled Clouds Raise Hope of Teleportation by: Robert Matthews

Clouds of trillions of atoms have for the first time been linked by quantum "entanglement" - that spooky, almost telepathic link between distant particles. The feat opens new possibilities for quantum communication systems and sci-fi-style teleporting of objects from one place to another.

The everyday view of atoms is of solid, independent objects a bit like billiard balls. But according to quantum theory, atoms are far less concrete entities.

Atoms can be persuaded to interact with each other so that events affecting one instantly affect another - no matter how far apart they are. Dubbed entanglement, this could open the way to superfast quantum communications systems and ways of teleporting objects by instantly transferring their properties from place to place.

Before now scientists only managed to entangle a few atoms close together, raising a question mark over the practicality of quantum technology. But now a team at the University of Aarhus in Denmark has entangled two clouds of trillions of caesium atoms. The method should work for very distant clouds.

      Quantum loophole

The team co-ordinated the quantum states of two atom clouds by exploiting a loophole in Heisenberg's uncertainty principle. The principle forbids precise knowledge of the quantum state of each gas cloud.

But when two clouds are in an entangled state, you can work out the overall properties of the two collections, for example, the so-called total spin state. Changes in one cloud are mirrored by changes in the other that keep the overall property of both clouds constant.

To preserve the frail entanglement, the team shielded the atom clouds from outside disturbances. They did this using special magnetic fields to trap the atoms inside two vessels lined with paraffin wax.

By shining laser light through the vessels, the team entangled the spin states of the two atom clouds then watched how long the state lasted. Full entanglement would have lasted only a million-billionth of a second, but the team kept up partial entanglement for half a millisecond - aeons by quantum standards.

"The experiment shows that it is possible to create entanglement with macroscopic objects, and to do it using just laser light - which means one can do it even when the objects are separated by substantial distances," says the team leader, Eugene Polzik. "We've also shown that the state can persist for a long time, even at room temperature."

"Now that the experiment has been done, it should be relatively simple to entangle more than two atomic samples, or to teleport states of atomic samples," says Ignacio Cirac, a physicist at the University of
      Innsbruck in Austria.
