      Just briefly, we had an extended period of solar activity, but now we have reached a solar minimum earlier than expected.
      Will the next solar max be early or late?  The sun is not behaving as predicted.

      Max SHOULD have occurred in 2000 but that the Sun has mysteriously
      refused to shut down.  Didn't we just have the largest solar flare
      in recorded history (within the last hundred years) just about a year
      ago?
