The Darwin/Trotsky connection How could the son of a rich Jewish land-owner became so vehemently prejudiced against his father’s class and against religion?

Group Description

This is a board that has grown quiet over the years but I do make an effort to post at least once per week the Sunday's Creation newsletter. You are welcome to join and post. Keep it clean please. We are here to be an example, not a spectacle

Civility towards fellow posters is expected even if you disagree.

History of the name: We were originally posters on the old Yahoo stock board for a company called TVX gold. This group was created to relieve the burden because we would deluge that board with too many off topic and relevant posts in general. This also gave us an outlet to debate our religious and political differences. As you can see by the number of early posts (though Yahoo lost them when it converted their clubs to a groups messaging system), we were quite an active group at the time and that is why we frustrated the TVX board. The reason we called it a university was because the level of teaching by the many experienced market traders and experienced people over a broad range of subjects was enough to give you all the education you needed for the 'school of hard knocks'
