      * CASPIAN OIL & GAS EXPO, 5-8 Jun 2001, Baku, AZERBAIJAN

      The U.S. Commercial Service - Baku, in cooperation with Sperhead Exhibitions,
      the U.S.-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, and the American Chamber of Commerce in
      Azerbaijan, is organizing the USA Pavilion at the 8th Caspian Oil and Gas
      Exhibition and Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan, June 5-8, 2001.

      The USA Pavilion will provide U.S. firms with business counseling and market
      research research, as well as offer a Caspian Finance Seminar. The Finance
      Seminar, to be held during the Caspian Oil and Gas Show, will feature the
      Caspian Finance Center, US Liasion Officers to the Multilateral Development
      Banks, and US Embassy Officers in the region to discuss trade/project finance
      and market strategies with US firms. A series of one-on-one consultations with
      interested US firms will be held following the Seminar on June 6-7.
