      Shot Fired Into GOP Headquarters
      September 2, 2004

UPDATED:: Huntington Incident Generates Worldwide Interest

Huntington police on Friday continued their investigation of a shot
that was fired into the Republican Party headquarters Thursday night.
Two dozen supporters of George W. Bush were watching the president
accept his party's nomination on television when the incident

Huntington police said reports came in about 10:30 p.m. from the
building on 4th Avenue at 14th Street. One bullet hole could be seen
in a large glass window, through a sign that said marriage is
      between "One Man, One Woman."

Police said they had not found bullet fragments inside the
headquarters and had no way of knowing what type of weapon was used.

Eyewitnesses told 13 News they heard a loud bang but weren't sure
what had happened. One woman said she found pieces of glass on her
      neck and shoulders.

The incident has students at neighboring Marshall University

"It's kind of scary," said Christina Gossett, a Marshall
freshman. "The scariest part is that there were people sitting in
there a few feet lower and could have been really bad."

The incident attracted the attention of the Drudge Report Internet
site. Its link slowed access to wowktv.com to a crawl.

True. I do because I must. My priorities though are different to
yours. Why store up "treasure" when you can't take it with you when
you die? I's rather focus on the treasures in my own soul: THE REAL.

I'm happy that you have a comfortable life for you and and your
family Jack. Blow the "EGO" up because it is that what chains us all.

I don't believe so. I do have many hobbies; a girlfriend, I see the
world (or some of it) with my mind. As for the Navy etc...I could
never kill anyone so why bother?

I don't believe in Capital Punishment. It has to be said, we live in
very different worlds Jack. Our daily thought must be very different.

The short time we are alive here is a very short time indeed in the
scheme of things. Be careful because we must answer for everything
        when we leave.
