      Hi

This site is a must for anybody whi even wants to know the slightest bit
about survival in any shape or form. This is the most comprehensive site
that I have ever seen with a plethora of links as listed below. In some
cases the info is a bit sketchy, but certainly most of the topics I could
      think of are addressed.

      Regards

      Stephen

        Dear Stephen:
I had to write to express my appreciation for what you just sent to me.
I only found the Zeta site by coincidence in following a chain of links one
        week ago.
I am a Baha'i and in our Faith there are many quotations of coming
calamities, now those quotations have really hit home.
The enormity of everything boggles my mind.
Thank you again and God bless all of you.

          Dear Frances

Many thanks for your kind reply. I am glad you found it helpful and useful.
I have been posting this stuff for the last six months now on a number of
sites but rarely post them on TTwatch. I have posted this stuff also on
TT-Oz and Psdisc, both are available under Yahoo groups ie you can join them
by searching Yahoo. If you would also like to know more I would encourage
you to look at the PSDISC stuff (that stands for Poleshift Discussion). The
content of that site over the last many months is almost entirely my posts.
This way you can catch up quickly.

BTW What is Baha'i (I have heard about it before but do not remember) and
tell me more about the prophecies/quotations of calamities. There is a long
story attached to this as I have studied the bible for some 20 years. One of
the main reasoons is that I believe in the reality of prophecy. Only to some
is given this gift of seeing down the tunnel of time. Thus I am eager to
          understand what your prophecies say.

          Regards

          Stephen

            Interesting Page.

I was trained and worked as a wilderness guide
and outfitter during the 60s and 70s, even wrote
books on it (most recent "Edible and Medicinal
Plants of the Great Lakes" Wilderness Press, I signed
away all my priviledges, and books like this are not
money makers). Stay out in the wilderness for long
            periods of time for years.

Then, did the opposite computer engineering, then
            went to medical school.

In short periods of catastrophic situation there
will be food and shelter. The problem is can one
            mentally take it.

I remember the first time I saw a person beat with
a crow bar, I just stood there gaucking. Even though
I was trained, I had never seen anyone that mangled.
Since then, I have worked at trauma centers and have seen
lots and have become immune to mangled bodies.

However, most people have not seen this stuff. And
if the first time is in a catastrophic situation, I
think I may have sustained serious mental illness
that would turn into a life threatening situation
just due to the rumination in my mind.

With survival training, computer training and medical
training, I thought I could change the world, make
medicine into a service of excellence, but alas
            (http://www.swcp.com/~tanman/novel06.htm)
realized that it takes a long time to change the
direction of a trillion ton ball rolling down the road.

Though you can have all the books in the world, and have
done lots of camping and have lots of practical knowledge
on how to survive, even though I have been in the military
and been involved with medical situations with serious
            trauma.

Long term survival is still unknown.

There will be many people that will survive for months,
but what will happen for the years????? Only time
            will tell.

A close friend of mine spent years in survical training,
in martial arts training, in the military and lots of
specialist training. He was driving down the road at
around 45 mph and got rear ended by a fella going
90, he woke up in the hospital.

Though knowledge is important, it is one's world view
and luck that have a lot of play in the game.

            Thanks,

            TAN

My uncle Bill, rest his soul, as he died last December.

              He was 80 plus.

He told me many of his war stories in his later years.

He was 21, he was a private in the Marines. He was on
a landing craft, just loaded up in the stormy Pacific just
off Panay Island in the Philippines. Rounding in the landing
craft with numerous landing crafts, waiting for all of the crafts
to get loaded with marines, taking the boats and getting them all
to go around in large circles, with cannons from the Japaneses
shooting at them, blasts going on around them, then the time came.
All the landing crafts were filled and all headed for land, to
land on the beach, on this large island in the Philippines.

All the boats heading toward the beach. My uncle was right
there at the front, right there against the metal drop down
door. The Captain was next to him, The Captain was shouting over
the noise of the exploding guns and blasts telling everyone
when the door drops, run to the top of the beach, shoot to kill.
              we will regroup up there.

The command was clear. The beach was close they were right there,
and then the Captain, opened up a small peep hole around 8 cm
in diameter and looked through the hole, then all of a sudden
my Uncle Bill, crouching right next to the Capt whom is looking
through the hole in the landing craft, right there in front of
him, a large caliber bullet finds its way through the peep hole,
and blows the Captain's head into pieces and the Capt falls over limp
with brains splattered all over my Uncle Bill and right then and right
there, the front door of the landing craft falls open.

My uncle said he just got out of the boat and ran. He found himself
at the top of the beach in amoungst the coconut trees alone. Hiding
behind a tree, he shot at the Japanese whereever he heard sounds.

In 30 minutes there was a group of them. and in a few hours they over took
the beach front and the Japaneses were on the run.

In times of stress, one just reacts.

              Thanks,

              TAN
