Preaching to the Perverted - The Sequel
After fantastic support from the worldwide fetish scene in restoring and re-releasing cult classic film Preaching to the Perverted, the campaign to get the sequel up and running is now under way.Want to buy a DVD or Blu-Ray of the original film? Just click on the pictures above.
Seed funds have already been raised to develop the sequel, Tortured in the Orchard, scheduled for production in 2015. If you are interested in investing to finance the film, please get in touch. The film-maker, Stuart Urban, can offer excellent incentives to reduce risk for investors with the right UK tax profile, under the government's Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme. This can reduce most of the risk and provide tax free profits when the film is made. For UK and non-UK investors, there is also the 20% UK Film Tax Credit on qualifying production costs after overall production is financed.
Tortured in the Orchard is planned by the same Director, Stuart Urban, who made the original film, Preaching to the Perverted, as well as BAFTA-winning TV dramas and internationally released movies. The storyline follows the 18 year old daughter of Tanya (Guinevere Turner) and Peter (Christien Anholt) as she becomes an intern to the British Prime Minister. Much kinky mayhem and a constitutional crisis follow ! Other cast who have committed in principle include several more of the original name actors, including Ricky Tomlinson.
At this point, Stuart Urban would like to hear from those interested in subscribing to a minimum level of £5,000 shares for development. Target is to raise £1,500,000 for production and £500,000 for marketing.
NB - Anyone considering investment should be a sophisticated investor, aware that there is a risk element to this investment and they should be a high net worth individual / high rate taxpayer. Potential investors should seek their own expert advice before subscribing for shares.
