Re: Finally got my T-Bird Sport!
- Well congratulations! I bought mine with 675km on it, have since added about 86,000. Just put a dumb amount of money into it (ignitor, sprag clutch) but she makes me smile and we all know motorcycles are emotional and not logical.
Good Luck and ride safe!

My very first Triumph was a 1996 Trophy 900..... very nice bike, but after three years and 27K miles, I totalled it in the Adirondak Mountains in New York. In 2002, I sold my BMW R90S with the hopes of buying a guys '98 TBS, but the guy renegged at the last minute and there were none to be found at that time. I ended up buying a 2002 Bonneville (Thiumph #2)which I've had for the last 10 years and 45K miles. Fun bike..... great bike to modify to your liking, but it just doesn't have the soul-stiring sound and feel of the triple.

The day after I sold the Scrambler on ADVrider, I went to look at a 2004 T-Bird Sport (Triumph #5)with just 939 miles on it. It was "bone stock" in black w/yellow. The guy was asking stupid money, but I spent three hours with him, and I finally got him down to 75% of his asking price..... time well spent!
