Hi all, I just joined this group in hopes for some insight to a problem I'm having with a 99 Legend that I just purchased from a used bike dealer.
I know this is a TBS group but I figure its close enough.
The problem I'm having is in acceleration, I seem to have a flat spot around 3500 rpm. I understand this is common with the TB and TBS as well as the Legend and was wondering if there was a  fix for this problem. The mechanic at the dealership spent a day or two synchronizing the carbs and claims he re jetted them as well. I really love the bike and decided not to pursue getting my money back as I hope it's an easy fix.
If anyone has any experience with this problem I'd appreciate some advice.

I m no expert, but this is in the range where the main jets come into play, and since it is transient, I would look at the needles being worn or gunked up. It

I'm no expert, but this is in the range where the main jets come into
play, and since it is transient, I would look at the needles being
worn or gunked up. It could also be something that was adjusted out
of the low speed circuit that affects the transition to the high
        speed circuit.

Good luck, but it sounds like you need a trip back to your mechanic.
