I have a complete set of MINT red bodywork for a 98/99 TBS for sale.

      Includes:

      Tank
      Seat
      F/R fenders, (rear w/tailight assembly)
      Side covers
      Flyscreen
      Original handlebars
      Stock exhaust mufflers
      Air box

Would obviously prefer to sell the above as one lot as it's factory
colour-matched. My previous TBS was custom-painted before they found out the
frame was bent and wrote the bike off, so I salvaged that freshly-painted
bodywork (better than factory by far!) and removed this bodywork and stored
      it.

Also used yellow f/r fenders and side covers, not mint but very clean.

Best offer(s). Offers to: rfenner@..., please. You pay shipping.

      Thanks.

      Richard.

To everyone else, i have an '00 TBS, white/tangerine and the rear wheel is all rusted. Buchanon only has and black anodized aluminum available so I'm looking to either find a good used wheel (spokes not neccessary) or find a good rechrome shop.

Thoughts, help, advice, wheel all welcome....

Should I send this as a new post?

            Thanks,

Hello, and thanks to everyone who has responded.

Sorry, all, but I'm simply not up to piecemealing this stuff out. If someone
wants the lot and then wants to sell the bits they don't want, make me an
offer. Otherwise it's going to a dealer.

I'm still going through rehab and surgery and lawyers, so am really beat a
lot of the time. Thanks for your understanding.

                        Cheers,

                        Richard.

Not step by step instructions, but some photos to help. The hard part is that third mounting bolt, which is obscured by a cooling hose and clutch slave hose.

On another topic - is there a step-by-step posted anywhere for
                          alternator removal/replacement?
I have the Haynes book, but it's nicer to see something from a
                          layman's perspective.

Be sure to reconnect the ground lug on the upper right bolt when you put it
back in (don't ask me how I know that).
