UK Environmental Audit Committee Hearing
- Last month, executives from the Society for the Protection of Birds and the UK Overseas Territories Conservation Forum testified about environmental sustainability in the UK Overseas Territories in a hearing before the Environmental Audit Committee, an influential Select Committee of Parliament.
These are not the usual politicians making excuses but honest discussions of problems and challenges. It is from such hearings that policy is actually made and changed.
The transcript of this hearing is now available. It is quite long and detailed. Only a few will find it of interest but those few may share my fascination with real experts talking honestly about the real world out here in the colonies.
