Tristan da Cunha World Heritage Sites
- Gough and Inaccessible Islands are World Heritage Sites, inscribed in
1995 and extended in 2004 http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/740 Would
anyone know how much the Tristanians were involved in these
decisions? In particular:
-Who initiated the inscription and extension?
-What consultation was done with the Tristanians?
-World Heritage Status would affect fisheries, conducted by both
locals and outsiders. How much did the fisheries affect the
inscription and extension.
Thank you very much for any comments and sources,
