      - The libraries shipped with the 2.x compiler include support for the 1300. Particularly,
      procGetCapabilities() can identify the 1300, and 2.x includes the BSP for the
      1300 reference board(s).
      - Code compiled with the 1.1compiler cannot be mixed with that from the 2.x compiler.
      The calling conventions have changed.

      So if you are already using 2.1, you're fine.
      If you are using 1.1, you should switch to 2.1
