I haven't tested my 350 flying, but I have a friend who recently took
his Nuvi 700 along on a commercial flight. It locked on and tracked at
altitude for him. Which explains why it was showing a Max Speed reading
      of 368 MPH!

      > Before you go thru too much effort, check the max speed of the Nuvi 350. Many GPS units can't handle the high speeds... especially when they 'unlock' tracking the sat's. The little ADMS-1 that was available worked the best so far at jet speeds and only seeing a fraction of the sky. (steep banks to the left causes my GPS antenna to see dirt, and therefor 'unlock' from tracking) All other units I've tried would never 're-lock' until slowing to speeds <250 kts.
