- The high rate is the default one. AUTOSAVE with no GPS works exactly
like fixed-position mode, until GPS lock comes back anyway. So this
behavior is by design, and will probably stay that way unless someone
can come up with a compelling reason not to do it that way.
AUTOSAVE is really intended for things like temporary digis and weather
stations that are deployed and have a GPS active only while they're
being set up, and for balloons that might land and lose GPS lock but
still need to beacon their last known position despite possibly
resetting when they crash.
