Re: Replacing a 2010 Prius undercarrage cowling
- This sounds like Toyota TSB 0032-11. Do a search on "toyota tsb 0032-11" to find the document and a lot of discussions also. Read this TSB before going to the dealer.
I had similiar problems more than once and the dealer was ignorant on the subject. The TSB calls for a replacement of the undercover.
Prius-less for the first time since 2001; my 2010 was Dodge RAM'ed.

From what I understand - the undercarriage cowling is suppose to help reduce drag. It looks like this particular cowling which is attached by plastic pegs of some sort is insulated. So I am thinking of going to get it replaced with a new one next week. I My question should I have the dealer to get the panel replaced or is this something a local garage can fix?
