Re: Door Lock problem-faulty actuator
- FWIW, I also had my driver side front door power lock fail all of a sudden last month on my 2003 at 87900 miles.
Took it to the dealership and they replaced part # 69120-30010.
Part was $112
Labor was $72.80
Tax was $6.05
Toyota Extra Care Warranty covered all costs.
The price for the replaced part is pretty much inline with the price listed at toyodiy.com:

I bought the extended warranty from Toyota, and had them replaced free under "warranty". The invoice for the first actuator I had replaced states "Toyota Extra Care to Pay $170.44." (The second invoice didn't say anything about Toyota Extra Care paying.) If Toyota will reimburse $170, even $350 is excessive, let alone $530.

Checked Electrical and found faulty acutator for door lock assembly. This will cost $530." Well this is a lot so I declined. Maybe I can find the part somewhere else and get installation cheaper, any ideas greatly appreciated. As a woman this is a bit of a safety issue. Thanks
