      Hi All,

I finally saw this film after finding a website that sells it with English subs. It was fabulous! Mifune is very charismatic (a bit like Kikuchiyo in his mannerisms) and I thought his acting in this was excellent. The film is in color and was nicely done, with a good story. Just wanted to give it props in case anyone was wondering if it is worth watching!

              Hi Barbara and Everyone,

I bought "Rickshaw Man" from www.japanesesamuraidvd.com
They are very inexpensive, around 10 dollars per dvd, free shipping, the quality is good and the translations are good. They have a few different Mifune movies.

There's another good source on Ebay under the seller 93zx2girl. Her DVDs are around the same price. I bought "Yagyu Secret Scrolls 1 & 2" from her; both the picture and subtitle quality were good.

              Another source is http://www.samuraidvd.com/
The site is a bit harder to search.

Happily, it seems that the days when the dreaded Mei-Ah was the only option are over!

Mifune is very charismatic (a bit like Kikuchiyo in his mannerisms) and I thought his acting in this was excellent. The film is in color and was nicely done, with a good story. Just wanted to give it props in case anyone was wondering if it is worth watching!
