Group Description

A pair of unique languages, discovered only a century ago, constitute a whole branch on Indo-European. Tocharian A and B (Turfanian and Kuchean, respectively) were spoken in the Taklamakan desert of Western China until around 1100 years ago. Most remaining records are translations by Buddhist monks of Sanskrit material.
This group is dedicated to putting together knowledge and discussing about these unique languages, as well as keeping up with any advancements made regarding them. Input is much appreciated, and members are welcome, BUT NOT SPAMMERS.

Also, discussion on Proto-Indo-European is encouraged.
