      Hello, guys.

Has anybody tried to use Borg 8045 or 7704 reducer on TMB/APM 130/780?

Borg 8045 is the reducers for Borg 125ED, supporting medium format and 7704 is for Borg 125SD, supporting full frame CCD.

I am intrested on these reducers because 130/780 can be a fairly attractive astrograph with large aperture, wide field, and large image circle. However, these are very hard to get and I would like to have some information before I get them.

      Thanks,

      KH Choi

        I have this reducer, it's perfect for 130/780, 105/650, 80/600 at full
frame, sharp to the corner. I am going to test it with my 203/1420APO also.

The 80/600 is very handy, but not much people use that for deep sky
imaging. I have tested the following and good for full frame.

        - TS2 zero power
        - Sky Watcher 0.85x reducer
        - BORG 7704 Super ED reducer

But the coming 0.75x Riccardi reducer is very attractive, it offer 100%
full illumination for full frame, and corrects up to 16803 chip with
only 25% light drop at corner.
