- Hello,I went through all my channels and deleted the ones I never watch by unchecking them as instructed, but then when I went to my line-up they were all still there.I couldn't find a Save Changes option, or anything like that to make them final..I have done this several times in the past also and had the same result. Why is it that they don't delete when Tivo itself tells you that you can do that and how? Thanks!

That should 'remove' them,When you say they were still in your line-up - what line-up are you referring to? The on-screen Grid Guide? In the Grid Guide, at least on my system, if you go into Options (press the yellow 'A' on the remote), go down to Channels, and make sure it is 'My Channels'. If it is 'All' then you see everything, checked or not.--
- Yes, Settings, Channel List and My Channels gives me a list of all the channels I receive and gives me the option to uncheck any I do not want to use. After I uncheck them and go back to the Guide, the list of my channels, all those I unchecked as not wanted, are still there. I am still receiving them as though I didn't do anything to delete them.If by Grid Guide you mean the guide like Charter has, I never use that so I don't know what shows there or not. I only use the Guide with the channels listed vertically in two columns. When I went into Options and pressed the yellow button I have Use Tivo Live Guide selected.I changed the option All to My Channels but it didn't change anything. I am still receiving the deleted channels. On Wed, Nov 22, 2017 at 3:32 AM, MegaZone yahoo@... - I am curious if you ever get this problem resolved ?
When you delete channels you can only do this from
the master Tivo box and the channels will be deleted from the master
and also any satellite Tivo Boxes that charter has supplied you with.
(Since my wife and I watch different TV's and completely
different stations, it would be better for me if this master slave
relationship could be circumvented but I haven't figured out
how to do that.)
If you have additional cable TV's that are not hooked up to Tivo Boxes,
those TV's will each have to be blocked individually.
At least, that 's how it works with RCN.
If this feature really is not working properly.
This seems like something your Cable company may have to answer.
Bill Z - I would suggest you look into favorite channels. Not sure if that fixes it or not, but it can shorten the channel list some.
